The article " The Trumpet of Conscience" states Martin Luther King's great effort to oppose segregation ,war, violation and racism. It is mainly based on King's speech which is brought up three reasons by Luther King, and how see the connection between the war in Vietnam and his war on poverty in the United States.
     He points out that,first, U.S has to make a effort to prevent poverty in country that people suffering and develop education and provide nutrition and employment instead of spending money for war against Vietnam.
    Second, the government must stop send black people for participating in war such as other people.
    Third, U.S ghettos that Molotov cocktails and rifles would never solve their problems at home that a solution could only come through nonviolence!

Variety between Maugham's and Aesop's story

              Maugham's story based on the various attitudes and view on life between two brothers Tom and   George. Accordingly, George is hardworking, responsible person, but his brother Tom  is irresponsible,  prodigal,lazy person. As George collects money to his future and more responsible and prudent to his life and his family, he also, takes care of his lazy, spender brother Tom. In order to this case we may predict that    Tom is going to loose his everything and his future is going to be desperate. But at the end of story we noticed that even though George was expected to be lucky in his future because of his attitude, Tom got married with rich woman and start to live into wealthy. In this case we can realize that everything depends on people's fortune. 

          In contrast, Aesop's story is talking about actually the lifestyle between ant and grasshopper. As an ant is hardworking and storing up the food for winter,grasshopper is lazy and it live for right away. When they encounter, grasshopper teases ant that it works hardly to keep food for winter and does not enjoy life as he enjoys. Thus, winter comes and grasshopper becomes desperate to get food and he asks food from ant. Consequently, this story ends up with  sort of justice.

The novel To Kill a Mockingbird mainly revolves around a small family of three -- Atticus Finch, an attorney, and his two children, Scout and Jem. As the novel proceeds certain characters are linked with the three main characters to form a dramatic story of events, attitudes, prejudices and values. The novel is set is the quiet town of Maycomb; but the serenity is only superficial. The town is comprised of three communities: the white folk, the black community, and the ‘white trash’. Outwardly there is peace among the three, but underneath prevails a combination of hostility, racial prejudices, and friendlessness.

1. The friendship actually is to upgrade feelings of loyalty,warmth, love among each other.
2. As this is emphasized in story , the five qualities of friendship is, loyalty, supportiveness, the ability to keep confidence,warmth, affection.
3. There are two reasons define the ending of friendship: Betrayed by a friend and discovering  that a friend had very different views on issues. Betrayed by a friend is more special unforgivable action not only between friends ,but also among people. I would say betrayed by a friend ends friendship,because ever friends can have different views on issues.
4.There three activities are more characteristic among friends: intimate talk, helping out of friend and turning to a friend for help. Trust is the most importance point between friends to keep their friendship warmly.
5. There are two rules of friendship do the respondents mention; 1)confiding each other sharing intimate aspects  of their personal lives and feelings, 2) To be right to ask for help. I definitely follow both of these, because I think this is how friendship is suppose to be.
6. However i think there is not any limit between I and my friend. People should find real and good friend, which is not going to get in a trouble and take you to involve that case.

 It turned out Esther has gotten through fateful situation. Although she had a desperate homesickness, her passionate love for Lawrence was always kind of barrier to her. Lawrence loved her mutually with great compassion and intensity. Even though both of them were eager to be together, Father Paul disrupted their expectations. Mostly, Esther got bad impact, because the reason Paul brought forward was her identity, skin and background. However Esther trusted him more than everybody,he was her guide in the mission. He broke her all hopes with his brutal verbosity. It is indicated, she would never end her aversion to him. As a result, she drawn on imagination of killing Lawrence tent to taking a revenge from Father Paul. Thus, she killed Lawrence in order to blow Father Paul into grief, even though she loved Lawrence so much.
